This Picea Glauca carries a unique story, transforming from a simple repurposed Christmas tree into a refined bonsai in the Chokkan (formal upright) style. A gift from a friend, it has been in our care for the past three years, slowly developing structure and character under our guidance.

The tree’s trunk is marked by a striking shari, a feature that enhances its sense of age and resilience. The deadwood extends through three key points—at the base, the middle, and the top—creating a natural flow that guides the eye upward. At its foundation, two strong lower branches extend outward in a welcoming gesture, embracing the viewer and reinforcing the balance of its classic design.

For now, this evolving masterpiece remains in a wooden training container, proudly branded with our Bonsaigers logo. As it continues to mature, this tree stands as a testament to transformation—proof that even the most ordinary beginnings can lead to extraordinary beauty.
